The simple life I’d like to lead
Would give me ample time to read
From written works of every sort:
Books, blogs, labels, signs, reports,
Newsy papers, magazines,
Cereal boxes, letters, scenes …
Once I’ve read all words in sight
I’ll have no choice; I’ll need to write!
