Day 306 post: Bathtime

When kids turn up with grime
Mom declares, “Bathtime!”

They complain and mope
And growl about the soap.

Mom marvels that they’re dour.
Thinking back on her quick shower.

Oh, how she’d love to steep
In a bath so warm and deep.
