Day 12 prompt: dessert

My good friend Sunny
Eats kinda funny:

Milk chocolate chips
Over sirloin strip,
Marshmallow treats
On roasted beets,
Giant Cool Whip globs
On broccoli raab,
Maple syrup goo
With her turkey stew,
Crunchy toffee bits
On salmon and grits,
Pecan pralines
With lima beans,
Red gummy critters
On lobster fritters,
Candy caramel
Over fried morels.

Didn’t sound so good
‘Til I understood:
“Eat what Mama makes
And you get some cake!”
