both brothers
absorbed the bulk
of the book
but their brains
aren’t built alike

because
Bob believes
his bible gives basis
to bash and berate
and belittle and blame

but Bill
basks in a bible
that benefits all beings
bathing in blessings
of bounty and
benevolence
