All our babysitters
Seem to get the jitters
When a creature starts to skitter

One wimpy sitter
Complained on Twitter
That my gecko was a spitter

Another said I quit, sir
When the gerbil had a litter
In the purse her grandma knit her

Then my snake named Corn Fritter
Slithered up her skirt and bit her
And they actually did commit her

These anxious ladies flitter
I think they’re downright bitter
And just jealous of our critters
