Day 264 prompt: Hands
they emerge
plump and pink
from the
veil of white bubbles
that whisper over
her dinner dishes
still for half a second
then two rapid twitches
scatter dripples
across the bubble veil
after maneuvering
an absorbent train
of damp cotton
across the marble
they dab away
the remaining
moisture
now drier and paler
but just as strong
and nimble
they curve
over planks
of black and white
prepared to
serve and savor
Wagner’s march
Ah, nothing quite like a woman cooking and serving….at least they’re clean. 😉
I love that what she serves herself for dessert is great music. Thanks for reading!
