Generally speaking, my emotions are out there. Visible and obvious, even when hiding them might be prudent. Sometimes I wish I could tuck them away, just out of sight, and reveal them only when I’m good and ready.

Some people are good at this. I suspect they have a handy pocket where they stow their feelings—the positive and the negative and everything in between—hidden but accessible, ready at a moment’s notice, but never too soon.
