Today’s make something instruction was to work with or create a deck of cards. I wanted to create a deck of writing prompts. Alas, this is not a new idea. (Google it … other enterprising writers have come before me.) Maybe someday I’ll invent a bigger, better deck. But for now, that niche is filled.

Instead, I summoned a giant deck of playing cards from our game cupboard, selected a key number in a favorite suit, snapped a couple photos, wrote a few sappy words, and called today’s assignment “done.”
