“Make or buy a frame and use it to showcase something that already exists so people can see it in a new way.”
Today’s make something prompt gave me reason to play with Photoshop, even while on holiday break from my communications day job. After snapping a photo of the entry for “writer” in Roget’s Thesaurus, I found a wonderfully ornate frame image, then blended the two.
I don’t know if this framing makes you see writers in a new way. But it sure does give me fresh perspective on how I name my profession. Perhaps I should adjust my business cards with a loftier label. Shall I call myself “chirographer” or “litterateur” or “parabolist” or (my favorite) “fabulist”?
