Make Something: Face

What can you do with a face?

That’s the lead sentence in today’s prompt from Noah Scalin’s Make Something 365 book.

My face tells my story. I know how to play poker, but I’ll never have a poker face. My expression pretty much gives me away—positive or negative.

This year on Mother’s Day, my husband and children and I went to one of our favorite outdoor spots for a photo shoot. Jim got this candid of me, and the way I feel is written all over my face. Not that life is perfect, but that I’ve found a purpose, a partner, and a place where most of my days are filled with joy.

I have so many reasons to smile.
