Today’s “make something” suggestion was to go grocery shopping. Noah Scalin offered extra credit for making the work at the grocery store itself. So while my husband and stepson shopped for Friday night drinks and snacks, I played with produce.

One lady approached me when I was messing with the sweet corn. I think she was about to ask me a question, then realized I was arranging and photographing the food. She changed course pretty quickly. I noticed her watching me a few minutes later while I fiddled with the cucumbers, too. Again, she veered away.
