Go outside and make something in or with the first patch of dirt you find.

I didn’t have to go far. At the edge of our driveway, the ground around our basketball hoop struggles to grow grass. Just inches away, the neighbor’s lawn is lush and thick and green (they water; we don’t). The rest of our lawn is in reasonably good health … but this one patch stays bald.

And, as we haven’t had rain all week, our little dirt display is hard and cracked and dry. I bet it itches.
