As I reached this 200th day of making things, I confess that my heart sank when I read the prompt. Noah Scalin invited me to create something from my own hair, or that of a friend, gathered from a haircut.
Ewwww.
Parenthetically, he offered the alternative of pet hair.
We do have two cats. They don’t leave too much fur about … except in one chair in my husband’s office.
What the heck. I used a lint brush to gather a handful, then pinched and pulled and sculpted a simple word:
Clever.
Thanks, Janice. It was a little strange “harvesting” hair … and even more unusual trying to sculpt it. But by golly, I persevered!
