I’m going ultra-literal with today’s make something prompt. It’s Christmas Day, and I’ve been in full-on celebration mode since 6:00 a.m. Any other day, I may have mustered a far more innovative variation on this theme:
Desaturate: Create the illusion that the color has been removed from something so that it looks like a black-and white photograph.
But we were busy making other things today—like hot beverages in the new Keurig machine and a mess of wrapping paper and boxes all over the floor. Mostly, we were making merry.
Along the way, we snapped photos. Here’s one of my favorites: all six of our kids, fully desaturated to black and white, putting total focus on all their goofy glory.
