Today is my 333rd day of making things. Three threes! My favorite number! And this is one of my favorite of all the prompts:

“Make a unique trophy. Bonus: Award it to someone!”

This trophy is a simple creation fashioned from an old shirt box, a pair of 3D movie glasses (lenses removed), two Sharpies, and a bit of duct tape. It makes quite a statement.

I’m going to pass this award around the family to commend moments of clarity, brilliance, and ingenuity.

Maybe I’ll even take it to business meetings and writing classes, to recognize the great ideas that so often flow when my colleagues and students are in the creative zone.

Who wouldn’t get a smile from such an honor as this?
