Go out into nature and gather supplies, came today’s command. I put it off all day. After dinner out with the family, as the sun was setting and my butt was ready for sitting, I realized there could be no more delay.
The patio bricks and furniture are covered with helicopters. Did you know these are known as maple keys? They are so light and crisp. I have always loved to toss them up and watch them spiral to the ground. What fun that would be—to float and spin without concern for what happens next. Where will I land? What will I do? What will I spell?
It does not matter.
